HAPPY NEW YEAR

We began and continue our New Year with snow, snow, and more snow. It is heavier than most years so the city has run out of sand and salt. Luckily, we only live a mile from work and the Germans require all weather tires. We spent New Year's Eve with friends. In Germany, New Year's Eve is referred to as Sylvester. At midnight they shoot off fireworks. Danny celebrated his 61st birthday on the 19th. We went to Florence, Italy for a 4 day weekend. Florence was as fabulous as everyone says that it is.
